Timing Is EverythingSchedule your portrait session during your child's upbeat time of day, after naps and feedings, so that he can enjoy the experience. Arrive 10-15 minutes before your session. Use this time to relax and enjoy our cool studio before the camera starts clicking. Make It PersonalBring along necessary items to help keep your child happy and clean, including diapers, wipes, snacks, favorite toys and blankets. Bring along some personal props - costumes, hats, or toys that showcase your child's personality. Mix Up The WardrobeWhen picking out your child's wardrobe, think bold and bright, something simple, no busy stripes or patterns. For family portraits, it's best to dress everyone in the same style, color or mood. Bring a variety of outfits with you. Casual, formal, or something to reflect your child's personality. It will help us to capture your child's true self. Since some portraits may show the child from head to toe, make sure your children wear matching shoes and socks. Be Open-MindedSometimes a frown, a wail or even a sleeping baby can make a great portrait. Don't shy away from capturing a variety of expressions that capture your baby's personality. Are there any images that you have in mind? If so, let us know beforehand or at the beginning of the session.It is usually fairly easy to park on the street close to the church. Let us know if you’re running late on the day etcThose with young children:Perhaps you should explain to your children what you’re going to do before they arrive. You could tell them that Bryan's got some big flash lights etc and they’re going to be ‘stars’ for the day. Not a bad idea to bring some ‘rewards’ for good behaviour, but no snacks until after the session if possibleThere will always be time to feed babies or change nappies during the sitting if you need to. Please don’t worry if your child is not ‘on form’ on the day. Bryan has his own children and knows the score. If you don’t get the pictures you want you can always come back another day.REFUNDSBecause of the nature of this business, we do not give refunds. We will however be more than happy to reshoot the sitting, or even reschedule at no extra charge. PAYMENTSWe accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
